Bioversel Sarnia receives approval from the Ontario Ministry of the Environment to operate a 60 million liter per year production capacity biodiesel plant located in Welland, Ontario.Bioversel Sarnia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Bioversel, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of biodiesel and biodiesel fuel blends in Canada.
Bioversel Sarnia's Welland biodiesel production site is multi-feedstock with rail sidings for up to 20 rail cars .

Bioversel announces agreement for biodiesel production with Greenway Bio-diesel, Winnipeg, Manitoba.Bioversel, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of biodiesel and biodiesel fuel blends in Canada, continues to grow biodiesel production capacity and market share in Canada through its network of production partners. Greenway Bio-diesel’s 20 000 MT annual biodiesel production plant is located in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The plant is located in Western Canada’s main canola growing region and has great access to canola oil feedstock.

Canadian Renewable Fuels Association reports progress on subsidy paymentsCanadian Renewable Fuels Association has been very active over the past several months concerning required changes to the ecoENERGY for Biofuels Program. As result of this activity Natural Resources Canada (NRCAN) will move forward with the rolling average mechanism including retroactive payments to existing biodiesel producers to the April 1, 2008 start of the program.

Bioversel announces strategic partnership agreement for biodiesel production with Methes Energies, Canada.Bioversel, Inc., a leading producer and distributor of biodiesel and biodiesel fuel blends in Canada, continues to grow biodiesel production capacity and market share in Canada through its network of production partners. Methes Energies operates a 5 million liter/yr biodiesel production facility in Mississauga, Ontario and a 25 million liter/yr facility in Sombra, Ontario. Under the agreement, Methes will process various feedstocks supplied by Bioversel to produce quality FAME biodiesel. The two companies are planning to increase annual production at the Sombra facility to 50 million + liters over the coming months in order to meet growing demand.
